We also design and engineer ventilation systems, fiberglass equipment, process systems and dual lamination equipment.


Role Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Estimator specializing in Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) to join our team in Brampton, ON. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating costs and preparing accurate project quotes for FRP manufacturing projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of FRP fabrication processes, and the ability to analyze project specifications to determine material and labor requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the profitability and success of our projects.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the FRP manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of FRP fabrication processes
  • Ability to accurately interpret project specifications and drawings
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience with cost control and budget management
  • Knowledge of PVC, Polypropylene, and Polyethylene fabrication is a plus
  • Also resposnsible for purchasing project related materials
  • Other duties as required


Requirements:

  • Post Secondary Education in a Construction or Engineering related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented, and be able to take direction
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills or other relevant estimating software related to our industry
  • Strong work ethic, with a relentless focus on helping to grow the company.
