Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Shifts Available: 7 am -3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: Perth, ON

Job Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire control systems according to drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Determine wiring sequences, layouts, and component locations.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing to ensure product functionality.
  • Follow CSA, UL, CEC codes and meet Eaton’s quality requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and safety programs.
  • Provide input to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the work area.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the facility’s operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent level of education from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefits – only candidates within an 80-kilometer radius of the work location will be considered.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment is an asset, but training will be provided.
  • Two-year community college diploma or higher is preferred.
  • Experience in machining operations (milling, drilling) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to grasp new tasks and concepts quickly.
