Associate Director of Strategy

Havas Health Toronto is seeking a Associate Director, Strategy and Planning to join our Creative Strategy team. You will partner with clients and internal teams to develop brand strategies and tactical plans that drive measurable growth. This role is both client-facing and hands-on, involving the design and facilitation of strategic workshops, advisory boards, and brand planning sessions. You will also play a key role in identifying both organic and net new opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesA critical member of the strategic planning team, supporting the agency’s success and growth for assigned account and new business opportunities.Champion a consulting model approach to client engagements Develop and present brand strategies and tactical recommendations in collaboration with account and creative teamsLead and facilitate strategic workshops, including HCP and patient advisory boards, brand planning, and omni-/multichannel mappingAnalyze research and data to uncover insights and translate them into actionable communication plansDevelopment of discussion guides for market research and conducting 1:1 HCP and patient interviewsDevelop strong relationships across assigned clients commercial, marketing, and medical teamsStay current on healthcare industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunitiesPlay an instrumental role in driving new business efforts, including identifying growth areas, exploring new therapeutic categories, and driving new business pitch development through uncovering core insights, establishing core brand idea, collaborating with creative on core concepts, and helping to build omnichannel engagement plans. Incorporate and share feedback effectively across teams and projectsRequirements4+ years of healthcare strategy experience within the Canadian marketplace Deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare landscape including Health Canada, PAAB, and ASC regulationsAbility to dive into TAs to become an expert in the space.Strong understanding of social media channels (how they are being currently used, trends, consumer behaviors, technology and measurement opportunities) and social behavior.Familiar with current industry trendsStrong in-room presence and presentation skills Ability to design and facilitate strategic and tactical planning workshopsCollaborative and strategic mindsetExcellent interpersonal and written communication skillsProven ability to turn raw data into insights that guide communication strategiesAbility to manage, incorporate, and/or disseminate feedback appropriately for their assignmentsAbout Havas HealthAt Havas Health, we are dedicated to generating real and meaningful value for people and the brands they connect with through the creative and intelligent use of technology, data and content.
