You lead clients. You influence decisions. You carry responsibility. But the pathway ahead still feels vague, political, or slower than it should be. This is a Tax Director opportunity with a well established Toronto firm built around good people, sensible decisions, and very little ego. There is a defined route to Partner here. Both Income Partner and Equity Partner. And no one sitting in the way. This is a role about ownership, influence, and trajectory. Why this role makes sense A clear, credible Partner pathway with Income Partner and Equity Partner routes Real influence over client strategy, team structure, and how the tax practice evolves No internal politics or artificial bottlenecks A stable firm that invests for the long term Partners who want someone alongside them, not beneath them The role You will own a significant client portfolio and act as a senior advisor across the firm. You will be involved in high level planning, structuring, and complex problem solving rather than day to day preparation. You will have a seat at the table on decisions around client acceptance, pricing, resourcing, and growth. You will mentor Managers, help develop future leaders, and set the standard for how work is done. Yes, the work includes Canadian tax across T1s, T2s, T3s, trusts, and estates. But your value here is judgement, leadership, and direction rather than volume.
