Join our team as an Ecofee Coordinator and actively contribute to RONA Inc.'s environmental compliance across Canada. The Ecofee team is responsible for ensuring compliance to environmental provincial regulations and more specifically, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs, which refer to provincial regulatory frameworks that provide funding for the recovery of end-of-life packaging and products to keep them out of landfills. Reporting to the person responsible for the Ecofee department, the Ecofee Coordinator will be responsible for helping to ensure and maintain RONA's environmental compliance. His/her primary mandate will be to keep product classification up to date. Specifically, he or she must determine if products sold within RONA store network are obligated to provincial environmental regulations. To do so, he or she will need to develop its knowledge of provincial environmental laws and regulations and become familiar with the different provincial recycling organizations.
