Job Information

We’re seeking a dedicated Public Health Nurse (PHN) to join our team

As a PHN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health of our communities. You will follow clinical practice guidelines to provide assessments and select treatments, offering community-based programming/services. Your responsibilities will also include developing, delivering, and evaluating health promotion and disease prevention strategies.

Eliminating the risk of vaccine-preventable and communicable diseases is a key aspect of your role. You will conduct assessments, provide education, and administer immunizations. Your dedication to this cause will help safeguard the health of our communities.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will design, implement, modify, and evaluate health promotion activities to improve community health. Your expertise will ensure that these activities align with national and territorial program standards, effectively addressing the health needs of our population.

To be considered for this role, you must have a BScN or BN nursing degree program with two (2) years of nursing experience in a public health or community health environment.
