  • Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
  • Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
  • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
  • Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
  • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Support the mining advancement by extending and installing air and water pipes or operating ore loading machinery
  • Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems and equipment
  • Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Assist other processing workers in the maintenance and repair of various pulp and paper machines and equipmentTypes of systems
