AECOM Calgary Water Team is actively seeking a motivated, talented, and well-rounded Civil Engineering Technologist.
The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Generate cut/fill volume balances and alignment grades sheets
- Work, communicate, and collaborate professionally with internal staff, clients, contractors and the public
- Perform various field duties as directed by project managers when needed
- Familiar with City of Calgary Sewer, Water and subdivisions constructions standards
- Experience creating base plans from collected survey data
- Experience working with GIS data
- Experience working with scanning technology (LIDAR, photogrammetry, etc.) and point clouds
- Experience in road reconstruction design, land development, lot grading, stormwater management and construction inspection
- Experience with quantity take-offs and cost estimating
- Bachelor's Degree + 4+ years of related experience or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in related field
- Familiar with Civil 3D drafting and design of sanitary, storm and water distribution systems and land development
- 5+ years of related experience in municipal civil engineering surveying/ CAD/ design
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D models.
- Good time management skills
- Relocation is available for this position.
