Cybersecurity Analyst

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst.

Cybersecurity Analyst – Job Description

  • Assist with incident handling, reporting focal for Cybersecurity Operations

  • Reporting to Global Head of threat monitoring and response, working with stakeholders around the globe

  • Bridging communication between technical operations teams and globally based business leadership

  • Compiling and contextualizing investigating data of business consumption

  • Guiding team to best practice for incident response

  • Develop and deliver training materials specific to cybersecurity reporting

  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements and efficiencies in cybersecurity operations

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge

  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment

Cybersecurity Analyst – Mandatory Skills

  • 3+ years of prior experience in Cybersecurity

  • 1+ year of incident handling experience - managing large calls or multinational corporations across multiple business units

  • 2+ years of prior Business Analysis experience

  • Organization reporting, tracking deliverables and timelines; ability to maintain momentum of the project against a background of constantly conflicting priorities

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics and new technologies

  • You can demonstrate superior problem solving & decision-making skills to resolve complex work issues

  • You are adept with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment

  • You can demonstrate good interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal and external business partners and vendors

  • Efficient and thorough note taking skills

  • Well established organizational skills in terms of meeting deadlines and coordinating different work streams of activities

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, business or equivalent work experience

Cybersecurity Analyst - Nice to Have Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a highly valued asset; bank has a global presence in Latin America

  • CISM and/or CISSP certification

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau

  • Previous experience with project management or delivery, preferably within the banking industry
