About the Job The Environmental Services department is currently accepting applications for the position of Casual Housekeeping Aide with Brucelea Haven LTC. This position is an important part of the team that maintains a high quality of cleanliness, while providing infection, odour and pest control throughout the Home. Weekend and shift work is required.

A Casual staff member is required to be available for 6 shifts a month, including a full weekend. Salary & Benefits The wage for this position is $24.79 per hour, based on the UNIFOR collective agreement. The position will also receive 12% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation.

Winter Loan Program Requirements This position is key to the facility ensuring proper hygiene and cleanliness to promote resident- focused care.

The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in caring for the elderly, in good physical condition, and be able to work independently when required.

Housekeeping Aide applicants must have:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Familiar with infection control guidelines
