SQL Developer

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a SQL Developer.

SQL Developer – Job Description

  • The Canadian Statutory Reporting team works to align with any new or additional requirements facing Canadian Banks

  • The current project is creating data modeling with regards to Retail Credit Risk

  • Working to create a date pipeline to be used for reporting

  • Provide data expertise and identify patterns to improve process and calculation flows

  • Analyzing and updating data, changing data paths to align strategically within the bank's initiative as needed

  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

  • Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area

  • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

SQL Developer – Mandatory Skills

  • 5+ years' experience as an SQL Developer

  • 5+ years' data analysis and data management

  • 5+ years data modelling experience

  • Good communication skills required to work with multiple users

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Bachelor's degree required in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering etc.)

SQL Developer - Nice to Have Skills

  • 2+ years hands on experience with SAS

  • Familiarity with IFRS9
