Dans le cadre de ses ententes avec ses différents clients, Procom est actuellement à la recherche d’un Architecte Azure Cloud pour une entreprise dans le domaine de l’investissement. Notre client est situé à Montréal.


Description des tâches et responsabilités – Architecte Azure Cloud

Les responsabilités du poste incluent:
- Responsable du développement de modèles d'architecture en nuage pour Azure et de leur soumission au référentiel d'architecture de la division;
- Former les équipes de projet sur les options de la technologie Azure, les avantages, les coûts, etc.;
- Travailler avec les centres d'excellence centraux (Cloud, Data, Security, etc.) pour développer les meilleures pratiques et les modèles;
- Découvrez et intégrez de nouveaux choix de technologies Azure ou Open-Source dans notre catalogue de services Cloud;
- Documentation des architectures Cloud et des enregistrements des décisions d'architecture;
- Coordination hebdomadaire avec l'équipe du projet Cloud pour qualifier les nouvelles demandes.


Exigences du poste – Architecte Azure Cloud

- 10+ ans d'expérience dans l'architecture de solutions de reporting, de trading ou de solutions orientées client, idéalement dans les services financiers ou un secteur similaire;
- Une expertise approfondie des technologies Azure: comment elles ont évolué au fil du temps et comment elles continueront d'évoluer à l'avenir;
- Excellentes compétences en communication: bien que vous soyez présent 2 jours par semaine au bureau, toutes les équipes sont internationales et connectées par vidéoconférence;
- Une solide compréhension (idéalement une expérience pratique) de DevOps et des pipelines CI/CD, en particulier dans le contexte d'Azure;
- Une expertise approfondie de l'architecture pour la résilience: zones de disponibilité, régions, réplication de données;
- Compréhension de la méthodologie d'architecture (soit à partir d'une organisation de conseil ou au sein d'une équipe qui suit un processus d'architecture structuré);
­- Expérience de travail avec Kubernetes dans Azure (AKS) et d'autres configurations sur site ou dans le Cloud (par exemple EKS);
- Expérience de travail avec des architectures de type Kafka et/ou Event Bus;
- Expérience de travail avec Power Platform et/ou Databricks;
- Expérience de codage avec Java Spring;
- Expérience de la construction de modèles de coûts et de l'exploration proactive des opportunités de réduction des coûts dans le Cloud (Serverless vs Always On, différents niveaux de service, etc.).

Azure Cloud Architect

As a part of its agreements with its various clients, Procom is currently seeking a Azure Cloud Architect for a company in the investment sector. Our client is located in Montréal.


Job details – Azure Cloud Architect

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Responsible for developing cloud architecture patterns for Azure and submitting to the divisional Architecture repository;
- Educating project teams on the Azure technology options, benefits, costs etc.;
- Working with central centers of excellence (Cloud, Data, Security etc.) to develop best practice and blueprints;
- Discover and incorporate new Azure or Open-Source technology choices into our Cloud Service Catalogue;
- Documentation of Cloud architectures and Architecture Decision Records;
- Weekly coordination with the Cloud Project team to qualify new requests.


Mandatory Skills – Azure Cloud Architect

- 10+ years of experience architecting reporting, trading or client facing solutions, ideally within Financial Services or similar industry;
- Deep expertise in the Azure technologies: how they have evolved over time and will continue to evolve in the future;
- Excellent communication skills: although 2 days per week in the office, all teams are global and connected through video conferencing;
- Solid understanding (ideally hands-on experience) with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, especially in the context of Azure;
- Deep expertise in architecting for resiliency: availability zones, regions, data replication;
- Understanding of Architecture methodology (either from a consulting organization or from within a team that follows a structured Architecture process);
- Experience working with Kubernetes in Azure (AKS) and other on-premise or Cloud configurations (e.g. EKS);
- Experience working with Kafka and/or Event Bus type architectures;
- Experience working with Power Platform and/or Databricks;
- Experience coding with Java Spring;
- Experience of building cost models and proactively exploring opportunities to reduce cost in Cloud (Serverless vs Always On, different service tiers etc.).
