Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Provincial Operations, this position providesmontorship advice and support for administrative and operational processes for the Safe, Fair and Healthy workplaces division as well as Business Integration (BI). This includes the overall coordination of activities relating to budget, fleet management, contract administration, facilities management, capital project support, human resource support, operational planning, and systems administration. This involves developing administrative processes and systems to increase branch efficiency along with recommending and implementing program policy changes in accordance with divisional and ministry business plans. The position is the primary contact with Finance, Service Alberta Fleet Management, Human Resources and Accommodations.

The Provincial Operations Coordinator recommends, interprets, and communicates administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistent application of acts, regulations, and procedures related to administrative programs. The position develops timely and valid information, analyzes reports and schedules, and prepares monthly and year-end financial reports. This position works with a great deal of autonomy, and issues are only escalated once most options are exhausted. The position also provides advice and guidance to divisional business managers and administrative staff.

Provide the overall coordination for branch administrative and operational processes, in support of healthy and safe workplaces.
