Job Description

The Chiropodist role in the Chiropody clinic is responsible for modelling and demonstrating best practices in clinical foot care in accordance with COCOO standards. This role will be primarily involving the treatment of high risk patients or patients requiring ulcer treatment & management. There may be other routine patients who require care as well. The successful candidate with be liaising with the Academic Chair or Clinical Coordinator at the Michener Institute. There will be support available for the successful applicant at all times.

Qualifications
  • A 2024 graduate from Michener's Chiropody program
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario (COCOO) required
  • Current CPR and basic first aid
  • Current Vulnerability Sector Check
  • All immunizations current and up to date
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
