Spirit Ridge Resort is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences in our various food and beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of servers and bartenders to provide professional and friendly service to guests.
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
- Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness and set up, including maintaining high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Oversee the receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts, including managing staffing needs and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Perform duties such as Cashier, Bartender, Host when called upon, and be trained as a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet functions.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies, and be aware of what happened during the prior shift and clearly convey happenings for the next.
- Minimum two years Food and Beverage service or supervisory experience.
- Must have current BC "Serving it Right" or another Canadian provinces equivalent.
- Extra-sensory perception to how others are feeling, and be an organized multi-tasker who doesn't crack under pressure.
- Able to be on your feet all day, and have a passion for guest service and providing a great guest experience.
- A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, coach and train colleagues.
