We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to play a key role in our Dermatology Products Portfolio, covering Western provinces. As an MSL, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, supporting product training, and providing scientific insights to drive business growth.
Job Summary:
As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals, providing scientific support and education on our dermatology products. You will work closely with our sales teams, medical advisors, and key opinion leaders to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Canadian healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders, researchers, and professional organizations.
- Provide scientific support and education on our dermatology products, including complex scientific and clinical concepts.
- Conduct market research and gather medical insights to inform business decisions.
- Support the development and execution of investigator-initiated studies and post-marketing studies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide product training and support local initiatives.
- Report potential adverse event information and medical device incidents in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- MD, PhD, or Master's degree in health sciences, PharmD, or bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
- Minimum of one year of experience in MSL or related field position, or two years in another pharmaceutical position.
- Experience with biological treatments and/or psoriasis and/or autoimmune diseases is an asset.
- Strong strategic thinking and networking skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Resourceful and flexible, with experience in cross-functional teams.
