About the Role:
Aecon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Controller to join our team on the Scarborough Transit Connect project. As a Senior Cost Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial management and control services to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support project decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in cost control and financial management in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller account codes.
- Accreditation from AACEI or CIQS is an asset.
- College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
