Job Overview

Aecon is hiring a Gravel Crushing Loader Operator for our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including gravel crushers, conveyors, screeners, loaders, etc.
• Load gravel and rock into trucks and crushers and screen plants.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure they're safe and operable.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Assist in other tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Loader Operator crushing gravel.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment maintenance is advantageous.
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
• Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
• Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required.
• Willing to work overtime, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
• Other duties as assigned.
