We operate hospitals, health centres, and community-based programs across the province, providing a variety of high-quality inpatient and outpatient services.

The Health Services Manager will be responsible for day-to-day clinical operations, standards of care, and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment. The role will involve contributing to policy development, quality initiatives, service standardization, and resource management, as well as building relationships with the Department of Justice Correctional Services.

About the Role
  • Lead interprofessional teams at the Forensic Assessment & Corrections Treatment unit and Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for health services teams
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the Department of Justice Correctional Services to resolve operational issues
  • Manage resources and budgets to ensure efficient delivery of health services
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree from a health-related discipline
  • Master's degree or Leadership certificate an asset
  • Minimum five (5) years recent experience in a leadership and/or management position with responsibilities related to program planning, evaluation, human resource and financial management
  • Minimum five (5) years recent clinical experience in a position included in this portfolio
  • Must be registered with the relevant health discipline college/association
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Experience and expertise in process planning and redesign work
  • Requires a high level of sound judgment, initiative, and self-direction
  • Demonstrates high degrees of independent decision making, motivation, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and change management knowledge
  • Proven and highly developed leadership skills including vision, self-awareness, relationship and team building skills, and communication skills
Hours and Compensation

Permanent, Full-time / 75 Hours Bi-Weekly

$60.39 Hourly
