Job Title: Food Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and high-quality meals.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Worker will be responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals to our clients in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and responding to their needs
  • Assist patients during meal service and provide support as needed
  • Perform pot-washing and dish-washing duties to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Store leftover food products properly, according to Sodexo standards
  • Assist in the production of food under the direction of the cook
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Perform other tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor or manager
Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 10 education
  • Food Safety certification
  • 1-2 years related experience in a health care environment
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • English proficiency, verbal
  • HACCP, WHMIS training
  • Current vaccinations
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
