About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely testing and reporting services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release test results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action planning, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills, including issue identification and follow-up
  • Ability to maintain strict standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
