Job Responsibilities
  • Present a positive and polite attitude while dealing with customers in person
  • Efficiently sort, collect, and deliver mail items in a secure and timely manner
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery points
  • Ensure the safety and security of the mail in your possession
Qualifications

Mandatory Vehicle Requirements

  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Hold a valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years (driver's abstract required)
  • Minimum cargo capacity of 100 cu ft (2832 liters)
  • A metal roof-top and power outlet for a Canada Post sign and flashing light
  • Fifth door/hatchback for loading oversized items (preferred)
  • Provide and maintain necessary automobile liability insurance
  • Inform your insurance provider about your vehicle's usage while working at Canada Post
