Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to our operations and maintenance teams to ensure the successful delivery of capital projects.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop strategies to optimize plant operations, reduce costs, and improve environmental performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our operations, maintenance, and project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve program goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance on wastewater treatment processes, construction, and commissioning.
  • Program Management: Manage and coordinate the delivery of major capital projects, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a chemical, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in wastewater treatment, with at least 8 years of experience in a leadership or technical role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the Province of Manitoba or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 100% at our office or site. A valid driver's license is required. The work environment is fast-paced, with possible exposure to industrial and construction plant hazards.
