Sand Camp Foreman

Position Summary

This role is vital in overseeing winter operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. The position involves supervising sub-contractors and staff, reporting to the Patrol Supervisor and Operations Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to work plans, managing payroll records, and ensuring timely project completion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and uphold a safe work environment.
• Follow and communicate effectively with supervisors and crew.
• Adhere to weekly work plans.
• Maintain accurate payroll and Winter Operations Records.
• Stay in touch with patrollers and supervisors about job status.
• Ensure a clean and safe jobsite.
• Participate in Performance and Development Reviews.
• Work in alignment with company values and client targets.
• Promote diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections on various infrastructure.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Comply with legal requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in operating tools and equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized.
• Proficient in computer skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Experience as Foreman/ Crew Supervisor in road construction projects.
• Basic supervision experience.
• Valid DZ driver's license.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands

• Capable of climbing ladders.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Utilize protective equipment.
• Available for emergency response.
