**Summer Student Opportunity**

A summer student position is available to assist a department in a casino environment, working on initiatives, projects, and processes to improve operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in preparation and implementation of departmental initiatives
  • Work on assignments and projects to improve processes and procedures
  • Act as backup for Department Consultants/Specialist
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Department

**Conditions of Employment:**

  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • May be required to work in a high sensory environment with exposure to tobacco smoke, noise, and flashing lights
  • Will be required to work shift work, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Must comply with regulatory requirements, including SLGA and Anti-Money Laundering regulations

**Requirements:**

  • Currently enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution
  • Returning full-time as a student in the fall
  • Preference given to candidates in a field of study related to the SIGA property and hiring manager's business unit's needs

**Desirable Skills:**

  • Experience in Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Procurement
  • Experience in managing small initiatives
  • Experience in research and analysis
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office
