About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at TD Bank. As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to identify clients' financial goals and objectives
- Develop and implement personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Provide ongoing financial guidance and advice to clients to ensure they stay on track with their financial plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible advice
Requirements:
- Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required prior to start date
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required prior to start date
- 3 to 5 years of banking experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- CIRO license preferred (required within first 90 days in role)
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
- Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape and economic market issues
- Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance and build relationships
