Shopify is seeking a dynamic and versatile Senior Creative Video Producer to join our Brand Team. This role focuses on producing a high-impact storytelling series for our social platforms, creating content that captures attention and drives engagement. You will collaborate with various team members to shape the direction of the series, translating authentic stories of entrepreneurs into social videos that cut through the noise and reach a large audience.
Please note: this role is a fixed term from a ASAP hire date to January 1, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Produce a high-volume storytelling series for our social platforms.
- Collaborate with the social team, video editors, and motion designers to bring the vision to life.
- Interview real entrepreneurs and translate their stories into social videos that reach a large audience.
- Manage multiple videos simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Review and analyze project data to inform future production and distribution strategies
- Sell the vision to stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and alignment throughout the process.
- Project manage the series and organize digital assets and project files.
Qualifications:
- You're a dynamic storyteller with a proven record of work that evokes a reaction and delivers exceptional results.
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong instincts, digital excellence, versatility, and a unique point of view.
- You deeply understand the foundations of storytelling and how to apply them across mediums and platforms to great effect.
- You're a social native with deep knowledge of best practices for video across the digital landscape and know how to achieve results at scale.
- You understand the video production process end-to-end and know how to bring together different roles to create compelling video content.
- You're passionate about creative development, with the ability to define a creative vision while managing and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- You can manage multiple stakeholders without compromising creative integrity.
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- You believe in Shopify's mission and feel excited about using video to inspire more entrepreneurship.
