Job Summary
PAL Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Instructor - Air Combat Systems Officer Contracted Qualified Flying Instructor to join our team at the Winnipeg, MB facility. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for managing the training program, providing instruction to RCAF ACSO and AES Op students, and overseeing the development and delivery of training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the training program, including developing and implementing training plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide instruction to RCAF ACSO and AES Op students, including classroom, simulator, and live flying environments.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training materials, including courseware, instructional materials, and evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with other teams to manage training, scheduling, and flight operations.
- Participate in Wing, Squadron, and Flight-mandated briefings, and Progress Review Boards.
- Support flight dispatching and travel as required.
Requirements
- Military experience within the last 10 years with an acceptable PLAR.
- Former RCAF QFI ACSO experience within the last 10 years.
- At least three (3) years related supervisory experience at the senior officer level within a flying unit or air service.
- Comprehensive understanding of RCAF rear crew training system, organizations/hierarchy, and reporting mechanisms.
- RCAF/DND/GoC/industry experience in general staffing duties and procedures.
- RCAF CFITES principles.
- Supporting operations and training programs, including operational planning, budgeting, and execution.
Security Clearance
The incumbent must be eligible for Government Personnel Security Clearance and Canadian Goods Program.
