We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Meat Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Meat Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and assisting with the sale of goods.

• Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise and prepares items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizes slicers, stackers, and other utensils to prepare chicken and fill prepared salads and side dishes.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
