Job Title: Fund Accounting Manager

Job Description

  • Oversee fund accounting and administration services for private equity fund clients
  • Manage a team of Fund Accountants and provide training on NAV processes
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians for service delivery
  • Approve fee schedules and ensure compliance with fund documents
  • Review and approve investor allocations, custody trading documents, and other financial transactions
  • Respond to client queries and ensure service level agreements are met
  • Review financial statements, regulatory reports and establish client-specific procedures
  • Contribute to office growth and suggest improvements in NAV processes and client reporting

Qualifications

  • University degree in finance or accounting
  • Experience in fund administration industry with staff management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of fund administration business
  • Familiarity with private equity fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments
  • Knowledge of fund accounting software like Geneva, Investran, or Yardi
  • Interest in professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA)
