Civil engineering technician—Hybrid

Our bridge and engineering structures team is looking for a technician to work on various large-scale projects in the Central Quebec region. You'll have the opportunity to take on stimulating technical challenges, participate in training sessions and benefit from the support of our team, recognized across Canada for their achievements in bridge structures. We offer a flexible hybrid work mode that allows you to work both from home and from one of our Quebec offices. Given that this is a candidate pool, please be advised that the process may vary and is open-ended. Main responsibilities- Collaborate on a number of projects related to the construction of bridges and engineering structures, including design (technical drawings), supervision of field work, bridge inspections, field surveys, etc.
- Update technical documents as the project evolves
- Work full-time in the field, assisting the project team in the execution of general contractor work
- Inspect bridges and other structures (bridges, culverts, walls, etc.)
- Carry out field surveys as part of a team to obtain information relevant to the completion and follow-up of mandates
- Assist survey teams where necessary
- Participate in the preparation of studies and technical reports

Qualifications- College diploma (DCS) in civil engineering or architecture
- Construction experience (graduates welcome)
- Completed worksite safety training (ASP card)
- Good command of spoken and written French
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
