Job Summary

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing exceptional primary health care and is committed to working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine clients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate clients' health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Advise clients on health care
  • Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases
  • Communicate health promotion/disease prevention to clients
  • Perform client advocacy role
  • Manage client care and actively collaborate with a team of inter-professionals
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Nurse Practitioner certification – family/all ages
  • Desire to provide collaborative care as part of an interdisciplinary team
