GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a key member of our Environmental Science Team, you will play a crucial role in managing hydrogeological projects and supporting land development, infrastructure, and water supply objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement hydrogeological programs, including fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
- Manage consulting projects from proposal to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with hydrogeologists, engineers, and environmental scientists to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and training to junior staff members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulators.
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Earth Science, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- Registration with Professional Geoscientists Ontario or Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting.
- Strong knowledge of physical hydrogeology, including hydrogeological site characterization, hydraulic testing, and water balance.
- Familiarity with software packages related to physical hydrogeology, such as Aqtesolv, Surfer, and Leap Frog.
