Job Description: Prep Cook required to prepare food and serve customers in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

About the Job:

  • Prepare food and ingredients for cooking, following recipes and guidelines
  • Measure and season ingredients, wash and chop vegetables, cut meat, and undertake basic cooking duties
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly, complying with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned, working effectively as part of a team

About You:

  • Previous experience as a prep cook required, with a certificate from a recognized cooking school
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent required
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen, with ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • A team player with effective communication skills, patient and able to stay positive under pressure
