This role is a seasonal opportunity, typically starting late May and going to October, operating through the week with some Saturday's and Sunday's.
Job Summary:As a Quality Control Road Technician, you will become an expert in asphalt, aggregate, and concrete, conducting regular laboratory and field tests to ensure all products are in compliance with standards and procedures.

- Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated and all material is properly tested and examined
- Accurately report any discrepancies
- Visit multiple sites in the area to develop a full understanding of what goes into our roads to maintain the highest quality products
- Comply with all guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all around you
- Class 5 driver's license, clean abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in inclement weather
- Proficient in MS Office
- Post-secondary education focused on civil engineering or related technical field
- Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality. CCIL Type C certification and quarry experience
- CSA or ACI concrete testing certification
