Nova Scotia Health is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance portfolio, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our financial processes and systems.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Providing analytical support to senior leaders across Nova Scotia Health
- Developing and implementing financial initiatives and projects
- Creating and disseminating accurate and timely reports and analysis
- Providing proactive expertise and advice to support business decisions
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will have:
- A graduate degree in business and/or accounting
- Minimum three years' experience in accounts payable, budget, corporate reporting, general accounting, and financial analytics
- Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
