We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Galloway Health Centre in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support to clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, including providing emotional support and companionship.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Document client care and progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality client care.
