Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Attendant to join our team at NL Health Services. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare staff
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Personal Care Attendant program or equivalent experience
  • Emergency First Aid and BCLS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 75-hour pay period. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
