We're seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at NUTEM, a best-in-class manufacturer of home care and personal care products. This key role involves performing preventive maintenance services, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facilities. Key responsibilities include performing repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services, inspecting and diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and air systems, and communicating with machine operators to diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions. The successful candidate will also be required to maintain a daily update of the PM log, maintain and be accountable for all company-owned tools and equipment, and teach operators how to recognize problems before they result in an equipment malfunction. This position is responsible for supporting the operators with proper adjustments to the machine settings to sustain the desired speed and quality of product, providing troubleshooting for equipment issues, and reporting daily on parts used and maintaining updated the inventory of spare parts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
