We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the College of New Caledonia (CNC). As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all areas of the college, including classrooms, offices, and common spaces
- Restock supplies and materials as needed
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
- Assist with special events and projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Facilities Management
- Minimum of grade 10 completion
- 6 months or more of previous institutional or commercial custodial experience
- Knowledge of custodial equipment and chemicals used
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to organize workload in an efficient manner
This is a casual position, requiring flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
