We are seeking passionate Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) to join our Homecare team in Victoria County, serving clients in Neil's Harbour, Ingonish, Dingwall, and Bay St. Lawrence areas.

As a CCA, you will provide personalized care and support to clients, working closely with the Home Support Supervisor to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
  • Offer respite for families and caregivers
  • Document client progress and concerns
  • Complete other tasks as required
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certificate, Personal Care Worker Certificate, or current PLAR candidate
  • International students in Canada with a Nursing degree or Nursing/LPN students currently enrolled in a program
  • Students of Continuing Care Assistant Program (CCA) about to complete the program
  • Completion of Standard First Aid and CPR C
  • Alzheimer/Dementia care course
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and clinical skills
