As Accounting Technician you will:

  • Perform complex bank reconciliations;
  • Monitor daily cash flow;
  • Produce daily sales report;
  • Code and process supplier invoices;
  • Verify monthly statements of account;
  • Issue supplier payments;
  • Aid in the month end close process;
  • Perform monthly account analysis;
  • Post accounting entries;
  • Support the manager;
  • All other related tasks.

Required qualifications and skills for the position :

  • Technical training in accounting (finance) DSC or others;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent position;
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of AS400 software an asset;
  • Retail experience an asset;
  • Bilingualism both oral and written (English and French)
  • Analytical and autonomous;
  • Sense of organization and prioritization;
  • Able to perform with a high speed ​​of execution ;
  • Comfortable with new technologies;
  • Excellent customer service (stores and head office).
