Job OverviewReports into: General Foreman, Welding Shop
Location: Sparwood, BC
Shift: 5x2- Monday to Friday
Term: 4 Months- May- August
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation
- Reading, organizing, and labelling steel packages.
- Data entry for parts programming and planning.
- Assist General Foreman in day-to-day duties of project administration including compiling photos and completing reports.
- Research and recommend solutions to design document problems including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to develop and grow Quality Control program.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong computer applications knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid analytical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
