The KD Production area is geographically divided into 2 areas of responsibility: the East and West, under the care and control of designated Production Supervisors. The Production Supervisors work closely together to maintain the highest level of integrity and production from the Kaybob Duvernay field - a 330,000-acre unconventional development produces approximately 65,000 BOE/Day from over 230 wells.

Supervisory scope for the East area of the field includes a team comprised of 10 Contract Field Operators and 1 Utility Operator. The well count for this area is 130 with the BOE/d averaging approximately 40,000.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Reports to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Leads the Production Operations organization within the Kaybob Duvernay asset in Chevon Canada Operations.
  • Responsible for supporting unconventional asset development, leasehold management, and daily tactical execution.
  • Accountable for metrics such as OE performance, base/growth production, surface and subsurface downtime, and production efficiency.
  • Facilitates production and lease operating expense meetings with Field Operators and builds action plans for their tasks based off netback.
  • Plays a critical leadership role within the KD Area Teams to align and prioritize well work and optimization, facilities optimization activities, maintenance, and projects.

The Supervisor is highly visible in the organization and community requiring role modelling of critical behaviors, providing visible leadership in the field, mentorship to the Team and proactively supports Human Organizational Performance processes within area of responsibility.

Relocation Options:
Relocation will be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

This position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). To commence the assignment, the selected candidate(s) must adhere to health and safety requirements established by Chevron Canada Resources (CCR), including the use of suitable PPE, in accordance with the requirements set out by applicable Occupational Health (OH&S) legislation. PPE requirements may include the use of respiratory protection, a harness and/or a hard hat. CCR will, in accordance with OH&S, human rights, and employment standards legislation, consider requests for exemptions to the health and safety requirements, and where appropriate, may provide reasonable accommodations for personnel who are unable to adhere to these requirements due to protected rights under the relevant human rights legislation.
