Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker I to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner within a warehouse environment.
  • Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Update warehouse management and transportation management systems efficiently using remote frequency devices and computer workstations.
  • Follow company processes, policies, and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, WHMIS, and Asbestos.
  • Assist in cycle counting or physical inventory as required.
  • Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
  • Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
  • Flexible with hours of work and assignment of tasks as rotation.
