Your primary duties will include establishing production and season schedules, leading production meetings, and developing and managing production budgets. You will also be responsible for technical coordination, including lighting and sound design, and supervising student technicians.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

**Responsibilities:**

* Establish production and season schedules
* Lead production meetings
* Develop and manage production budgets
* Technical coordination, including lighting and sound design
* Supervise student technicians
* Mentor students in theatre production
* Coordinate stage management for productions
* Supervise student technicians in the areas of Theatre Production and Front of House
* Recommend, purchase, and ensure safe implementation of equipment in the theatre and theatre shops
* Purchase general supplies and equipment for Drama and Screen Studies program
* Responsible for Facility management, including inventory and equipment maintenance, and organization of theatre spaces
* Responsible for Venue management for rentals, in collaboration with Director of Drama
* Provide Audio-visual support: setting up of equipment for events in the theatre
* Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications:**

* Professional/academic training in Theatre Production or equivalent combination of education and experience (3-5 years)
* Knowledge/experience in lighting and sound design is an asset
* Teaching/supervisory experience is an asset
* First Aid training and Fall Arrest certification (can be executed on-site)
