Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care, from admission to discharge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines to provide exceptional care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- One (1) year's recent relevant clinical nursing experience in the Operating Room or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
