Job Duties:
Summary of job description

The employee will need to maintain and repair some metallic and composites materials tooling used in the Composite Materials Center using various hand tools and different materials: fibreglass, carbon composite, epoxy resins, silicone, putty.

This work must be performed methodically, accurately and in accordance with work procedures.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
DEC Mechanical engineering
5 years of pertinent experience as a machinist or in composite materials
Knowledge of the various composite materials (fibreglass, carbon composite, resins and curing agents) and manufacturing processes used in composites materials tool fabrication
Must be able to operate all equipment used for tool fabrication and must also be able to use precision equipment;
Experience in repairing, modifying and fabricating composites materials tools
Resourcefulness, autonomous and regularity of attendance.
Functional knowledge of French and English.
