Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting asphalt laboratory testing, analyzing results, and communicating with clients and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct asphalt laboratory testing using the Marshall Method and Superpave Method in both central and mobile lab environments.
- Analyze and interpret test results to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed.
- Receive and record field samples for testing and/or holding.
- Communicate results effectively with clients and Englobe supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of field test results for review and subsequent submissions.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
- Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field.
- CCIL certification considered an asset.
- Team-oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout Nova Scotia as required.
