MMA Vézina is looking for the ideal candidate for the position of Placing Broker to join a dynamic team of Account Executives and Account Representatives. Our offices are located in Montréal on Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue, near the Olympic Stadium.

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with Account Executives and Account Representatives to offer our customers the best available terms and conditions for their entire insurance portfolio
• Offer a commercial insurance investment service to Account Managers
• Collaborate with other team members to fully handle our customers' insurance needs
• Build and maintain insurance market relationships
• Develop new business niches in collaboration with the sales department
• Inform Account Managers and Account Representatives of new coverages and market practices
• Develop and maintain analysis and comparison tools for the various insurance products on the market
• Participate in industry events and promote Vézina's interests with insurers on a regular basis
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of annual objectives with our insurance partners.

Skills and qualifications sought:

• Experience as a Placement broker and/or a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial damage insurance
• University degree or college diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Enhanced knowledge of various insurance policies, including property, automobile, directors & officers and professional liability, cyber and environmental
• Hold a commercial-lines damage insurance license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers
• Have a good working knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
• Strong business development skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• CIP (PAA), FCIP (FPAA) or CRM diploma (an asset)
• Proficiency in TAM software (an asset).
